Food and Drink

In house cuisine: Choose from a wonderful and generous Cotswold breakfast to set you up for the day or a less heart-threatening continental one. On chilly mornings, breakfast is served in the dining room and, when the sun is shining in the summer, on the terrace. Freshly squeezed fruit juice, organic yoghurt, seasonal fruit and compotes; cereals or on winter mornings a steaming bowl of porridge with golden syrup and cream; local free range organic eggs, sausages and bacon, smoked salmon, kippers and kedgeree (ordered in advance), and then homemade bread, marmalade and jam. The choice is yours. This is a real foody home.......! We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements – just let us know.

From time to time, Zelie may be able to offer dinner for a party of guests. Please enquire.

Eating out: With two excellent pubs, The Horse and Groom and The Fox, within walking distance and many others within a 5 mile radius, finding somewhere to eat will never be a problem. We can provide a recommended list and will be happy to make reservations for you, but don’t leave booking too late or you might be disappointed (Tables 3 and 14 at The Fox in Oddington are particularly special).

Your Hosts: Zelie Mason

Zelie and her family have lived in the Cotswolds for 30 years. She is accompanied by Mango, a lurcher, and Mocha, a Heinz 57 terrier. They all look forward to welcoming you to Trinity House, Upper Oddington, and to making your stay special – nothing is too much trouble.
